|Recommended: YesI think this is a wonderful place to live at. We have been really happy with everything. — I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone. They are in a good location next to highways. It is clean, staff and especially the maintenance crew are awesome and always so helpful.
|Recommended: YesLOVE THIS PLACE — I have lived here for the past year and really love this complex. I stay in the Redbud layout. It is the perfect size for one person, with an open layout. Noise on the complex is minimal. I rarely see or hear my neighbors, so it's very quiet. They keep the grounds clean, and valet trash pickup is a great feature to help minimize rodents and pests. I've never seen any roaches in my unit, which is mandatory for me. Many complexes in Houston are infested, so it's nice to have that piece of mind when you come home. Parking is convenient, and I can always find a spot close to my unit. The staff is friendly. And the scenery around the complex is peaceful. I really couldn't ask for anything more and plan on renewing my lease
|Recommended: YesLove this community — One of the good communities I have lived in. The staff is very professional and courteous and the maintenance requests get addressed within 24 hrs without fail. The facilities and landscaping are really good. The view from my apt looks a resort with tall pine trees.

Parking is good I think if there were small things I didn't like, I would be able to just deal because everything else has been wonderful here.
|Recommended: YesVery safe and quite, friendly neighbors and staff — It is a very comfortable complex to be in.

|Recommended: YesPleasant area away from the crowd but easy access — Very professional and friendly staff. Responds to concerns or questions in a timely manner. Nice area for now. A few improvements could be made but overall grade an A
|Recommended: YesQuiet and comfortable community, wonderful for singles and small families — This community is quiet and comfortable with many amenities. The pool and gym are great for everyday use. This residence is very family and pet friendly. Overall, the location and price are very reasonable.
|Recommended: YesGenuinely Happy Living Here — My husband and I are very comfortable and happy in this community. The grounds are very well kept it's nice to see the trees and green amidst the big buildings around Houston. We decided to live here for a short term while we look for a house, but never expected to be as comfortable as we are here. While the location is not as convenient as others closer to more prominent areas of Houston, the price quality more than makes up for the difference. I would not suggest an early 20 something who has just moved to Houston for their career to live here long term as it's not where the bar social scene is. However, for young couples who are potentially in a transition to a home buy or who work nearby, this is a great apartment. When I was searching for apartments in Houston, I read reviews on this location that stated that the staff were not great, etc. I have to totally disagree with passion. The staff are very professional, friendly and down to earth. I've had horror stories in the past and it's nice to not have to deal with that here.
|Recommended: YesGreat Maintenance and Friendly Courteous office staff VERY noisy upstairs nieghbors — I love the apartment complex here for its location, maintenance staff, and office staff. It has an enclosed dog park and treats for your dog at the main office. Needless to say they are pet friendly. The only two things I can really complain about is the trash service fee you don't have an option not to use and very noisy upstairs neighbors excessive loud floor pounding and noise early in the mornings and late at night . The kitchen fixtures and counters are ok expected higher quality for the cost of living here and area . Other than that, I can't complain about the complex in total. Probably will end up moving because of the upstairs neighbors, but I greatly appreciate the office staff trying to communicate the tenant above us. Unfortunately, the neighbors weren't very courteous adult about the whole situation despite us not complaining until dealing with it for a few years.
|Recommended: YesVery nice place to live. Friendly neighborhood — I moved here on August of last year. Overall it has been a great experience. Apartment services are very quick. The place is rather clean, but some people still don't clean their pets potty . The heated pool is a plus. The only thing I wish could improve is that they would give better maintenance to the gym. The machines need lubrication. The bike has been out of order for the past 6 months and the escalator makes a squeaky noise all the time. Overall I am contempt with the place and management.
|Recommended: YesVery nice — it is peaceful and has good appearances and i really like it
|Recommended: YesPleasantly pleasant — I've lived here for coming up to 3 years now and have generally been happy with life at The Lodge. Like all complexes, it isn't 100 perfect, but it does tick a majority of those important boxes. Being a gated community, it really does give the sense of security and safety, which I personally failed to find in surrounding complexes. I love love love the many twisty scenic paths between the different building, it makes you feel like you're walking through a wood I've yet to use the pool, but from what I've seen people use it during summer for bbqs or even just to relax after a long day on the deck chairs. Everything is coded however, so if you do want to use the gym or pool, be sure to check how to access it from the main office so you're not stuck later As for the apartment itself, it's cosy and comfortable. Some of the newer buildings do have upgraded appliances. I've only had a few things break during my time, but all is needed is a straightforward call or email to the maintenance department and they'll give you an accurate time of when they'll be coming over to fix it. I have had problems with the power going out a couple of times, however this is Houston and these things are bound to happen during storms. The only problem I can find is that there are a huge amount of dog owners in the complex and not all of them pick up after their pets, unfortunately. The complex has recently started to provide dog bags and bins in certain locations, so at least they're trying to control the situation. People will be people There are usually a few new faces in the leasing office every few months, but Courtney, the lead manager, is a rock and really cares for the place and the tenants. Parking is free in uncovered spots, however shaded spots are reserved for residents that have the parking badge in their car - be careful, it will get towed All in all, being a stone's throw from Memorial City and so close to the Beltway, it's got a great location, great communication between the tenants and leasing office and a safe environment.
